Explore PortfolioA region defined by light, structure, and contrast between coast and stone villages.

As a French Riviera wedding photographer, I work with clarity, restraint, and attention to space. This region offers consistent Mediterranean light, strong architectural lines, and a natural rhythm that supports an editorial approach. I’ve photographed weddings across the Riviera multiple times, moving between coastal cities and hilltop villages, and I understand how timing, movement, and location shape the final visual narrative.

Locations I’ve Worked At
ContactNice
My work in Nice has been primarily at private estates and château-style properties rather than urban settings. These locations offer controlled environments, strong architectural lines, and calmer spatial flow, allowing the Riviera light and structure to shape clean, composed imagery.

Saint-Paul-de-Vence
In and around Saint-Paul-de-Vence, I’ve mainly photographed weddings at secluded estates and historic properties. The stone architecture, enclosed courtyards, and elevated positioning create quiet, graphic frames well suited to a restrained, editorial approach

French Riviera style Wedding

The French Riviera is a region I return to for weddings, primarily working at private estates and château-style properties rather than urban venues. The combination of coastline, elevation, and stable Mediterranean light creates controlled conditions where timing, space, and movement can be planned precisely.
I’ve photographed multiple weddings across the Riviera, moving between coastal properties and hilltop estates. This repeated work has given me a clear understanding of how light shifts through the day, how heat affects schedules, and how venue layout influences both photography and guest flow.
Key locations across the region include Saint-Tropez, Nice, Cannes, Monte Carlo, and Antibes, each offering a different balance of openness, density, and architectural character.
Late spring through early autumn remains the most reliable period for weddings. Spring brings softer light and vegetation, while summer and early autumn offer long days and predictable conditions, with coverage planned carefully around heat and peak hours.

French Riviera Wedding Venues
My experience in the region is centered on private estates, historic villas, and château-style venues, where access, layout, and light can be controlled throughout the wedding day. Those are the venues I have heard a lot of good words:
Domaine de Canaille
A cliffside estate overlooking the Mediterranean, offering strong horizons, structured gardens, and clear spatial separation between ceremony and reception.
Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild
A formal villa with layered gardens and defined geometry, well suited to structured timelines and editorial compositions.
Château Saint-Martin & Spa
A hilltop property with refined interiors and expansive terraces, allowing smooth transitions and multi-day coverage.
Château Saint-Georges
A secluded estate valued for privacy, controlled surroundings, and logistical clarity away from coastal congestion.
Wedding Photography on the French Riviera
The Riviera works best for small to medium-sized weddings where the day can unfold within one primary location. From repeated assignments here, I approach coverage with an emphasis on efficiency, light direction, and spatial flow. Portraits and key moments are planned around the environment rather than staged against it, allowing the architecture and landscape to carry the visual narrative naturally.
