10 Best photography spots in Paris

Paris is one of the most photographed cities in the world. Parisian streets, monuments, squares are looks breathtaking which make Paris most picturesque and romantic cities. Making Paris photo shoots is a lot of fun, but you will have to make a hard choice between a big list of location and find the one you want to visit the most, as if you want to see them all, you need more than one day in the city.

01. Trocadero Square

Trocadero square is one of the busiest places in Paris because of its view on the Eiffel Tower. Even in the early morning, you will meet a lot of people, you can eventually meet some friends there. This is the most popular location to take a wedding, pre-wedding and engagement photography in Paris. The Eiffel Tower view here is incredible and I think you can’t find a better view than from here.

02. Champ de Mars & Carousel

Just walking down a few steps from Trocadero square and you will see these spots. Green grass around and water reflection help you to make some unique shots with Eiffel Tower view. It is not so crowded and you can easily find a place where you can enjoy your photo session.

03. Bir-Hakeim Bridge

Ahh, this is one of my favorite bridges in the world. Starting from architecture, feeling and ending with its view. Especially if it’s a rainy day in Paris, you can go here and still have beautiful pictures with Eiffel Tower view. It is also not so crowded as Trocadero square but still the same charm. From the photographer’s perspective, it’s also great because of the light conditions here. You can play around with shadow or make a perfect light condition just stepping back.

04. Parisian Cafe

One of the best photo spots in Paris is a typical Parisian cafe. The benefit of it, you can take a 15 mins break enjoying your coffee and croissant after the few hours session before. Many hidden cafes are hidden during the day from the crowd and even in the middle of the day, you can find a great one for your photo session. But make sure that the sun conditions are good too as you need to think about light and shadow that building around can make.

05. Louvre Museum

The most famous museum in Paris. Well known in the world because of it’s a collection of Art. I choose this location because of its exterior look combination of the modern world and elegant architecture of the 17th century. I think after the Eiffel Tower it is the most popular location to have a photo session.

06. Notre-Dame de Paris

Notre Dame is probably the most authentic photography location. Because the story of Paris is started from these two islands. The backdrop of this location are so different, you can do photo session with Seine river view, bridges, Parisian artists and cafes. Unfortunately, there was a fire on April 15th, 2019 and it is not recommended for photo session with the cathedral itself.

07. Tuileries Gardens & Other

Probably one of the most ornate, royal and extravagant bridge in Paris. It connects two sides of Paris and has a perfect backdrop for your photo session. From 1975 it is classified as a French Monument.

09. Montmartre
