Backstage: how I work on a wedding day
Morning
I arrive quietly, usually while someone is still looking for the other earring. I photograph the room exactly as it is, so leave the mess where it is: it's part of the story.
Ceremony
I stay out of the aisle and out of your guests' line of sight. You won't notice me; you'll just find the photos later. Straight afterwards, while everyone is still together, I round up the family. It takes twenty minutes, and then I disappear into the crowd.
Golden hour
Two short walks, one after the ceremony and one in the last light. I'll tell you where to stand and where the light is, but I won't ask you to fake a laugh. You'll be back with your guests before anyone notices you've gone. Then I stay until the dance floor is full.
I’m excited to go wherever your love story is taking me and looking forward to hearing from you!
