Your Riviera Wedding, Between Hills and Coast.

Couples come here to marry from all over: that one came from Sweden, with a Swedish priest leading the ceremony, and went on to a Michelin-starred restaurant for dinner. Most of my planning here is timing: the ceremony out of the strongest sun, portraits when the light softens, and enough time to move between places.
May to June and September to early October are the most comfortable. July and August look beautiful but are hot and busy, so timings need more care.
The sun is strong for most of the day. I use the shade of terraces and gardens, and keep portraits for the hour before sunset.
Nice Côte d’Azur is the airport for most Riviera weddings; Saint-Paul-de-Vence is about half an hour from it by car. Summer traffic on the coast is slow, so allow extra time between places.
Rain is rare in summer, but ask your villa or estate where the ceremony would go if it came: a covered terrace or a large room is enough.

All weddingsOn the Riviera I’ve worked at private villas rather than public venues, so I plan each day around the house itself: its terraces, its shade and its view.

Mostly documentary. I follow the day as it happens and step in with a little direction for portraits and family photos, then step back again.
I’m excited to go wherever your love story is taking me and looking forward to hearing from you!
