Annie and Derek wedding
Wedding at chateau Allure du Lac
This wedding at Château Allure du Lac was amazing and one of the most exciting of that year. The first part of the day began with a Chinese tea ceremony, followed by a European-style ceremony in the afternoon, set in the courtyard of the château. It was the first time I had witnessed a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. It included speeches, gift exchanges, and many delicious snacks.
Afterwards, Annie and Derek changed into traditional white outfits. The ceremony was decorated with rich red tones and beautiful flowers, and it was filled with tears and heartfelt words.
We then enjoyed a relaxed cocktail hour with a lake view, accompanied by plenty of champagne and wine. As the sun went down, we moved into the château’s antique ballroom for dinner, where we ate, drank, talked, and danced late into the evening.
