As a wedding photographer, I am drawn to the moments when a place and a couple’s emotions become connected. Bordeaux, for example, has a natural ability to create this feeling – a celebration that feels timeless, intimate, and deeply personal.

Where nature becomes part of the celebration

A vineyard wedding has a unique atmosphere. The landscape itself becomes a living backdrop, changing with every season and every hour of the day.

In spring, the vines begin to wake, surrounded by fresh greens and soft light. Summer brings long evenings, warm air, and celebrations that continue beneath the stars. Autumn transforms the vineyards into a palette of golden and earthy tones, creating some of the most beautiful natural scenery for photographs. Nowhere is this more true than around Saint-Émilion, where the vines run right up to the château walls.

The beauty of the South West of France is that the surroundings never feel like a decoration. They feel like a part of the experience.
