Frej & Chinami
Wedding in Stockholm, Sweden
Frej and Chinami’s international wedding was in Stockholm in August, in Swedish summer weather: not cold, and not as hot as the rest of Europe. Chinami got ready with her friends, all of them in white, and they married in a small church in Solna.
Before the sun went down we made portraits among the trees and lawns nearby, and dinner was in a restaurant in a white wooden villa with a glass conservatory. Thank you, Frej and Chinami, for being so open and for a day full of fun and emotion.

Morning
Chinami got ready with her friends, who all wore white: suits, dresses and lace. Earrings, the veil, shoes by the tall windows, and then everyone lifted their bouquets of greenery and blue flowers into the air and cheered.

The church in Solna
They married in a small church in Solna, with wooden pews, chandeliers and stained glass behind the altar. Frej waited at the front with his friends, Chinami’s friends in white walked in first, and she came through the bright doorway after them. Then the rings, and a lot of smiles.

What couples say
“We were looking for a photographer that could deliver personal photographies with the best quality of our wedding day and we’re happy to say that Dina Deykun exceeded our expectations.”

Out of the church
They came out through the big wooden doors to cheers and a shower of confetti. The guests gathered on the steps of the red brick church for a group photo, some in traditional dress, and then the two of them had a few minutes to themselves under the trees.

Before sunset
Before the sun went down we walked among the old trees and lawns nearby. The breeze kept catching Chinami’s veil, she laughed most of the way, and we finished with a few quiet portraits in the evening light.

Dinner
Dinner was in a restaurant in a white wooden villa, with a glass conservatory looking out on the garden. Green bouquets on white tablecloths, friends on the steps, a baby in a suit, speeches, and a kiss under the glass roof.

Questions
How far ahead should we book?
Most couples book six to eighteen months ahead. Summer Saturdays go first.
I’m excited to go wherever your love story is taking me and looking forward to hearing from you!
