Aix-en-Provence Weddings, Among Fountains and Vines.

Wedding photographer in Aix-en-Provence

Aix-en-Provence is the old capital of Provence, a city of fountains and plane-shaded avenues below the Montagne Sainte-Victoire, with wine estates spread across the countryside around it. Château de Robernier, in the Var near Cotignac, is about an hour east.

For an estate wedding within reach of Aix, the one I know best is Château de Robernier: white and gold salons, a terrace with the hills behind it, and dinner in a courtyard under the vines. Weddings there often take two days, and I follow both at the same pace.

The city

The Cours Mirabeau, the old town and its fountains suit an engagement session early in the morning, before the cafés fill.

Château de Robernier

A working winery with rooms on site, so a whole wedding weekend can stay in one place. The marble hall and salons give calm, even light for getting ready.

Heat

May to June and September to early October are the most comfortable. In high summer I plan the ceremony out of the strongest sun and the portraits for the last hour of light.

Getting there

Marseille Provence airport is about half an hour from Aix, and the Aix-en-Provence TGV station has direct trains from Paris.

What couples say

“Dina was our Photographer in June '25 in the Dordogne, and she was amazing. So easy to meet her online, organise all of the details easily, and then send her photos we wanted in preparation. She also worked really well with our videographer, and made sure we got every photo we needed. Highly recommend!!”
