Stefania & Rodolphe
Family château wedding, France
Stefania and Rodolphe married from his family’s château near Montbéliard, in the east of France, the day after their civil ceremony in town. They spent the morning apart: Rodolphe got ready at his parents’ château with close friends and family, Stefania with her bridesmaids, champagne and Latin dancing. Her Italian spirit filled the morning with smiles.
The ceremony was in the church in Valentigney, with their closest family and friends. Afterwards we made portraits in the château park and down by the water, and the evening moved into a glass marquee for dinner, a croquembouche with sparklers and dancing late into the night.

Morning
Stefania got ready with her bridesmaids, champagne and Latin dancing between the hair and make-up. White calla lilies waited for the bouquet, everyone crowded round when the veil went on, and her friends did up the back of her lace dress by the window.

Rodolphe’s morning
Rodolphe got ready at his parents’ château with close friends and family, in rooms panelled in dark wood. Cufflinks, a grey waistcoat and tie, a few quiet minutes on his own, and then everyone sat down together for a laugh before leaving for the church.

The church
The ceremony was in the church in Valentigney. Guests arrived on foot and by vintage car, children waited on the steps, and Stefania walked in on the red carpet with her long train behind her. Rodolphe smiled all the way through the vows and the rings, and then came the kiss.

What couples say
“Dina was our Photographer in June '25 in the Dordogne, and she was amazing. So easy to meet her online, organise all of the details easily, and then send her photos we wanted in preparation. She also worked really well with our videographer, and made sure we got every photo we needed. Highly recommend!!”

Out of the church
They came out to a shower of petals and cheers on the church steps, with the bridesmaids in pale blue all around them. Then the blue vintage car took them back to the château, past guests waving from the pavement.

Portraits in the park
Back at the château we made portraits by the car in front of the ivy-covered house, then walked down through the park to the water, where the trees lean over the bank. A flower girl came along for a few frames, and Stefania’s train did the rest.

Cocktails on the lawn
Dinner was set in a glass marquee in the park while the guests had drinks on the lawn in front of the house. Friends took selfies, the bridal party lined up in pale blue and navy, and the bridesmaids gathered for the bouquet.

Into the night
Stefania and Rodolphe opened the dance floor in the marquee, napkins went up in the air around the saxophone, and their friends lifted Stefania above the crowd. The croquembouche came out with sparklers, and the party went on late into the night.
