Alex & Mari
Engagement session in Paris
Alex and Mari came to Paris for their fifth wedding anniversary. It was their first time in the city, and they asked me to photograph it.
We met early at the Trocadéro, just as the sun came up beside the Eiffel Tower. Then we walked along the promenade, stopped at a café for coffee and croissants, wandered through the streets and finished at the Bir-Hakeim bridge. When we looked at the clock, three hours had gone without any of us noticing.

The Trocadéro at sunrise
We started early, when the square was almost empty and the sun was just coming up. Mari wore a red beret, Alex a dark jacket, and the stone terraces gave us room to walk, sit on the wall and climb the steps with the Eiffel Tower in front of us.

Along the promenade
From the Trocadéro we walked on under the trees, with the tower never far away. Some of it I made in black and white: a dip under the branches, a kiss on a bench, and the two of them reflected in the mirror of a parked scooter.

Coffee and croissants
No morning in Paris is complete without croissants. We stopped at a café with wicker chairs and round tables, Mari now in a burgundy dress, and had breakfast while I kept photographing. The croissants ended up in the pictures too.

What couples say
“Dina was our Photographer in June '25 in the Dordogne, and she was amazing. So easy to meet her online, organise all of the details easily, and then send her photos we wanted in preparation. She also worked really well with our videographer, and made sure we got every photo we needed. Highly recommend!!”

Streets to Bir-Hakeim
After breakfast we wandered through the quiet streets, where the Eiffel Tower kept appearing at the end of the road, and finished at the Bir-Hakeim bridge, among the iron columns and then by the river. Three hours had passed, and none of us had noticed.
