Pre-wedding session in Paris, a couple from Japan

Couple from Japan, Pre-wedding session, Paris

Espresso and croissants

We started at a café terrace with red wicker chairs: espresso, croissants and no need to pose. Sitting down first helps a couple settle in front of the camera, and some of the most relaxed, natural frames of the day came from that table.

Bir-Hakeim bridge

From the café we walked to the Bir-Hakeim bridge, under the long iron colonnade and out to the railing with the Eiffel Tower across the river. He works long hours, and every minute with her makes him happy. That is what I wanted these photographs to show.

Along the Seine

Below the bridge the riverbank was quiet: cobbles, willows, boats moored along the quay and the tower always in view. Her dress caught the breeze as she turned, and they sat together on the railing by the water.

The Trocadéro

We finished at the Trocadéro, first in the gardens and on the steps, then up on the wide esplanade where the whole Eiffel Tower stands in front of you. The light was soft and clear, and there was room to walk, sit and simply be together.

What couples say

“Dina was our Photographer in June '25 in the Dordogne, and she was amazing. So easy to meet her online, organise all of the details easily, and then send her photos we wanted in preparation. She also worked really well with our videographer, and made sure we got every photo we needed. Highly recommend!!”

A café, Bir-Hakeim bridge, the Seine, Trocadéro

This couple came from Japan to Paris in early autumn, when the sun was still out and the heat of summer had gone. It was not their first visit: they love how romantic the city feels, and so do I. They told me they had loved my photographs from the first look, which is the best start a session can have.

We had four hours. We began with espresso and croissants at a café, then walked to the Bir-Hakeim bridge, down along the Seine and up to the Trocadéro, with the Eiffel Tower in almost every view.
