Jess & Alessio
Engagement session in Rome, Italy
Jess and Alessio’s engagement session in Rome began near the Colosseum with the first sun. The light came in low and gold through the arches, the square was quiet, and Jess wore a long red dress that the wind would not leave alone.
From the Colosseum we walked into the old, quiet streets, past yellow and orange walls, scooters on the cobbles and a stone fountain. We finished the way Romans start the day: cappuccino and croissants, before eleven.

The Colosseum at sunrise
We met near the Colosseum with the first sun. The light came low through the arches and the cypresses, Jess’s red dress kept catching the wind, and for a while we had the old paving almost to ourselves.

The old streets
From there we walked into the old, quiet streets: a railing in the sun, yellow and orange walls, scooters parked on the cobbles, a little yellow car and a stone fountain. A few frames went black and white, where the sun made hard shadows.

What couples say
“Dina was our Photographer in June '25 in the Dordogne, and she was amazing. So easy to meet her online, organise all of the details easily, and then send her photos we wanted in preparation. She also worked really well with our videographer, and made sure we got every photo we needed. Highly recommend!!”

Coffee before eleven
And what is a Roman morning without coffee? Before eleven the Romans drink cappuccino with croissants, so we did the same at a small table on a square, after a last stop at a wooden door framed by pink flowers.

Questions
How far ahead should we book?
Most couples book six to eighteen months ahead. Summer Saturdays go first.
I’m excited to go wherever your love story is taking me and looking forward to hearing from you!
